Irina Antonova
a 4-year student of the programme International Economics and Business
I studied in the fall semester 2017 in one of the top business schools not only in France, but also in Europe. This school has Triple Crown accreditation (less than 1% of business schools in the world have such international recognition).
In the very beginning of the semester, there was a meeting for all exchange students — Welcome meeting. At this meeting, the staff explained all the procedural details: how to arrange and pay for the insurance, get a student ID card, etc. Then I had a week to sort out all organizational matters. As it didn’t take much time, I had to see the city and get settled, then the classes began.
The main difference of foreign universities from the Russian ones is that every course has group tasks. It allows to get immersed in the subject, as well as interact with your fellow students.
The majority of the students in Grenoble Ecole are French citizens coming from all over France. Still, there are 4-5 international students in each class depending on the programme. Nevertheless, even outside the classroom everyone are trying to speak English. So, there is no misunderstanding in any situations.
